VidBids Terms of Service

Last modified: May 12, 2026

These terms govern use of VidBids by brands, creators, and visitors. VidBids provides marketplace tools for creator discovery, bidding, messaging, contracts, deliverables, reviews, reporting, and payment-status workflows.

By using VidBids, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional written agreement that applies to your account or campaign.

Marketplace Relationship

Brands and creators are independent parties. VidBids provides the platform, deal room, audit trail, and workflow tools. Unless a managed campaign agreement says otherwise, VidBids is not the creator, brand, employer, agency, or legal representative of either party.

Creators are responsible for their profiles, bids, pricing, timelines, rights, deliverables, disclosures, and compliance with applicable law. Brands are responsible for their briefs, approval requirements, payment obligations, product claims, usage requests, and campaign compliance.

VidBids may host, distribute, link to, or display content and profile information from multiple creators. Creator profiles, job pages, deal rooms, and related marketplace pages may have unique URLs so that marketplace activity, content review, and Stripe Connect account information can be associated with the correct creator.

Bids, Contracts, and Deliverables

Creators are responsible for accurate bids, pricing, timelines, rights, and deliverables. Brands are responsible for accurate briefs, approval requirements, payment obligations, and usage requests. Awarded bids may be converted into contract records inside VidBids.

Users may not submit false, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, or infringing information. VidBids may refuse, suspend, or remove jobs, bids, messages, profiles, deliverables, reviews, and contract records that violate these Terms or create legal, payment, platform, or safety risk.

Payments and Stripe Connect

VidBids supports content-related marketplace payments for creator campaigns, sponsored content, deliverables, affiliate or commission-related promotional work, subscriptions or platform plans, and other brand-to-creator services shown in a deal room or checkout flow. VidBids does not permit payments for restricted content, adult content, paid sexual content, unlawful content, infringing content, or extremist content.

VidBids plans to use Stripe Checkout and Stripe Connect for live payment processing, platform fees, connected creator accounts, and payout workflows. Creators who receive payouts through VidBids may be required to onboard through a connected Stripe account and maintain payout eligibility.

When Stripe Connect is enabled, VidBids may pass creator-specific account identifiers, unique creator URLs, deal metadata, and transaction metadata to Stripe through the API so Stripe can conduct onboarding, payment processing, fraud prevention, compliance review, and ongoing monitoring.

VidBids tracks escrow and payout states. Until live payment processing is enabled for a transaction, any displayed escrow or payout state is an operational workflow record unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Acceptable Use Policy

Users may not use VidBids to create, host, distribute, link to, monetize, fund, solicit, promote, or facilitate content, goods, services, or transactions in the categories below:

  • Adult content and services: Nudity, explicit sexual acts, paid sexual content, subscriber-only adult images or videos, adult audio or video live chat, escort services, sexual services, or content primarily intended for sexual gratification.
  • Intellectual property or proprietary rights infringement: Content, campaigns, products, files, brand assets, music, images, video, software, or other materials that infringe or misappropriate copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, trade secret, or other proprietary rights.
  • Copyright-infringing content: Leaked albums, unauthorized streams, pirated video, copied creator assets, unlicensed music, scraped paywalled content, counterfeit goods, or other materials distributed without required rights.
  • Violent extremism and hate: Content that engages in, encourages, promotes, funds, recruits for, instructs, or celebrates unlawful violence, terrorism, violent extremism, or hate speech toward any group or person based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, veteran status, caste, or any other protected or immutable characteristic.
  • Illegal, harmful, or deceptive activity: Fraud, scams, phishing, malware, unlawful weapons activity, controlled substances, trafficking, exploitation, harassment, doxxing, non-consensual intimate content, or content that materially misleads consumers.

Users also may not structure a transaction to avoid these restrictions, move prohibited activity to linked external pages, or use VidBids to direct users to prohibited content hosted elsewhere.

Content Review, Detection, and Removal

VidBids may use automated checks, programmatic rules, keyword and link screening, payment and account signals, manual review, user reports, rights-holder notices, and service-provider alerts to detect potential violations of these Terms.

VidBids may reject, hide, demonetize, disable payment functionality for, suspend, remove, or preserve content, profiles, jobs, bids, messages, links, deliverables, reviews, accounts, and transactions when we believe they violate these Terms, applicable law, payment network rules, Stripe requirements, platform rules, or third-party rights.

We may cooperate with Stripe, payment processors, hosting providers, law enforcement, regulators, and affected rights holders when needed to investigate, prevent, remove, or report prohibited activity.

Reporting Violations and Removal Requests

End users, creators, brands, rights holders, and other affected parties may report suspected Terms or Acceptable Use Policy violations by emailing founders@vidbids.io. Reports should include the relevant URL, account, creator handle, job or deal room identifier, description of the issue, and any ownership or authorization information for rights-based complaints.

VidBids may request additional information, remove or restrict the reported material while reviewing it, notify affected users when appropriate, and maintain records needed for enforcement, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and payment compliance.

Copyright owners may submit takedown requests identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, contact information, and a statement that the report is accurate and authorized by the owner or the owner's agent.

Repeat Violators

VidBids may treat repeated, severe, evasive, or bad-faith violations as grounds for stronger action, including demonetization, removal of content, disabled checkout or payout access, account suspension, account termination, withheld approval of future jobs or bids, and reporting to payment or platform partners.

Attempts to re-register after suspension, route payments off-platform to avoid enforcement, repost removed material, or use alternate accounts to continue prohibited activity may be considered repeat violations.

Content, Reviews, and Compliance

Creators must follow applicable law, platform rules, FTC disclosure requirements, brand safety requirements, and contract terms. Reviews must be truthful and based on actual deal experience. VidBids may moderate abusive, fraudulent, irrelevant, or policy-violating content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will be posted on this page, and the "Last modified" date will identify the latest update. Continued use of VidBids after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
